Arshid Sheikh practices in the area of patent law with emphasis on patent procurement and complex patent litigation. Arshid works with clients in the electrical, electronics, telecommunications, and cloud computing industries. Arshid focuses on his clients’ business and technical objectives and develops pragmatic IP strategies to meet those objectives.
Arshid has experience with multiple aspects of complex patent litigation, including initial assessment of claims and defenses, motions practice, electronic discovery, performing non-infringement and invalidity analyses, and preparing expert reports. Arshid also has experience with patent reexaminations with the Patent and Trademark Office.
Arshid has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. Prior to being a registered patent attorney, Arshid worked as a systems engineer in various fields of telecommunications engineering including ISDN and SS7 telephony, SONET/SDH, and WLAN.
