Darleen Yacovone believes that the key to successful management of client portfolios begins with a fundamental understanding of our clients’ needs. “Too often paraprofessionals get lost in the transactional aspect of the work. They overlook the individual needs of our clients. The foundation of every firm rests on the experience and creativity of its people. If we lose the ability to problem solve and think ahead, then we undermine our ability to succeed. What drives me is the daily interaction I experience with my colleagues and the freedom to think critically and analytically about our work. It’s fast moving and challenges me every day.”
Darleen draws on a wealth of experience which spans over 15 years. She has expertise in all aspects of intellectual property but is particularly focused on patent prosecution. Darleen began her career as a secretary at an IP boutique firm and quickly advanced to the position of paralegal. She furthered her experience within the IP practice of a general practice firm. Prior to joining Condo Roccia Koptiw, Darleen spent 10 years as a senior paralegal where she oversaw the practices of several partners. Her background includes working in different industries including electrical, mechanical, and chemical.
